Greetings!
I'm Heather Foxing, an artist, designer, educator, and animator. I also go by HAH & use They/Them She/Her pronouns.
As for being an artist: Collaboration and Shared experience are where it is at for me. Telling and hearing stories, working minds and hands, and ultimately having an effect and being affected by others. Teaching ticks a lot of these boxes for me too! Luckily I currently teach art to kids and teens part-time at The King Art Studio in Henderson, NV.
Some of the things you can find in my resume but are fun to mention again: I was the Art Department Lead at the legendary Flash Flood Print Studios! I still think one of the coolest print shops to have existed. Thank you May Yang.
I love to learn! I graduated from SCAD with a BFA in Fine Arts/Animation in 2018. Someday I want to get back to animation and academics when the winds are right.
We don't know how to end things so here's a list of a few things that are intensely important to me: Art Museums, Exploring Nature, Podcasts (such as Welcome to Night Vale), Triangles of course, TTRPG (Collaborative Storytelling baby!), Music (Pink Floyd, Alt J, Mother Mother), Ginkgo Leaves, last but not least- the friends & loved ones that keep me going
